I mean, Dakota/Durango and Ram guys are the ONLY market......I say this because Magnum swaps in A, E and B bodies are ALWAYS a carb intake and either carb or aftermarket TBI injection, not MPFI.

He was dead set on trying to sell me an intake for the gmc sierra. Because my dad gave me a 455 pontiac motor that I plan to swap into it. He was pretty much pushing it trying to make me buy it. So the m1 convo wasn't long till he jumped back on the 455 convo

I got to chase gremlins this morning. When i'm working at one of my posts I run the headlights to see the back of the lot. This means I have to start my truck up every now and then to keep the battery from going dead (it helps to have LED headlights). However, this morning, some shady dude just walked across the lot and seemed to disappear among the busses. So I got out, locked the doors and went looking. I forgot what my battery was at and left the truck with the headlights on for too long. By the time I got back, it was angry. Shut everything off and waited 15 minutes for the battery to recoup some cranking ability. It was still dead, after two slow cranks it dropped to that dreaded starter click. Being the lazy genius that I am, decided it would be a good idea to take my jump pack (The leads are broken after they got run over) and hooked it up to the 12V accessory plug for a few minutes. Then I tried to crank it, surprisingly it cranked almost 10 times and tried to start. But it was too dead, the LED on the plug I was using to power the 12V socket wasnt lighting up when plugged into the socket. So I figured great, blew a fuse because my dash lights are also inoperative. So I got my lazy ass up and jerry rigged the jump pack up to the battery, gave it a minute and tried to crank it. A solid 30 seconds of cranking and it wouldnt fire. So I tried again but gave it some gas, it started but stalled as soon as I let off the pedal. At this point I was pissed, to I began pulling fuses and checking them while the jump pack was slowly trickling into the battery. Nothing, after 10 minutes I decided to start it and hold it running with the pedal. I got it down to about 800 RPM before it started running poorly. After a couple minutes I let off the gas and it went back to running as happily as when I pulled into the lot.

Nothing but the fuse in the plug I used was blown, my dash lights didnt come on because I didnt turn the headlights on and I wasn't thinking about that aspect of it.

I have been a little less than pleased this morning. But its all good now, runs fine.

If the battery was that low it probably had to relearn the iac and what not.. it's done it to me after I run it too dead or have it disconnected for any length of time...
