That's exactly why I bought a qc, my first truck was a Dakota, same thing nowhere to put ****, then had an extended cab RAM for more space plus kids, even then not enough, so now qc and even then when you put stuff in the back it looks messy, still wish the under rear seat was better, not much usable space really, I have my tools under there and it's really not even enough space for that.

Ah I'm just bored at work really not a big deal. But I had a extended cab before and was back and forth from orders a lot so there was never any reason to get a house so I stayed at my parents when I was back. Couldn't drive where I was going and my fuel pump went out in it so I was forced by them to sell it and had to get the one I got cause I was young with no credit. Worst decision I've ever made.

I installed my dual whips on the bed set them up so they don't come above the truck but are far enough apart to properly work.
However o need some advice on where to mount the actual CB.
I'm leaning towards 3 options
-above the radio bolted to the dash
-mounted to the ceiling above the rear view mirror
- or in the corner of the window where the Vin plate is located
I feel like the 2 options where they are gonna be easily visible in the window will create heat damage or strike some thiefs mind. Wiring seems like a problem for the one in the center of the dash and the mic falling and hitting me seems like a problem for the rear view mounted one.

Here is where I mounted mine. Can't see it but I know where everything is and I can reach it easily. Lol

Yes I know it's dirty I have since vacuumed. Lol

Speaking of the compartments. I agree there isn't enough. I wish we had the in floor ones like the 4th gens do but there isn't enough space to install them. I used to not have the storage under the middle seat in the front but I ended up getting one out of a wrecked 07 like mine that did, as well as electric front seats. Lol

Like they've got all this storage space and then it's a QC but them is SC guys get nothing no storage no space nothing. I mean throw a jacket behind the seat and you look like a slob cause it takes up half the area back there.

I hear you brother. I have a storage compartment unsder my center seat, but I don't use it lol. My rear storage compartment looks like crap tho.. One ratchet strap, my oem lug wrench, the scissors Jack, and a few foreign language dictionaries and it looks like a bomb went off lol.

I never really used the storage compartment under the middle seat either but I bought a small gun safe last year and it fits in there like a glove. :)

My new camshaft arrived this morning so everything is in, should have my truck back by the end of the weekend.

Trimmed my inner fenders this morning. Used the lift at work and lifted from the hitch. So much easier this way [emoji3]

Took a look under the truck last night. Didn't see any weeping, dry rot, or anything that was broken. So I'm thinking since the truck is driving the way it should be I don't have to replace anything under the truck at this time.:)

Wow Those leds really suck lol.

Speaking of home made and suck.. here's my quick diy spanner wrench. Yes those are two paint stir sticks. I tried it and it spins the pulley lol. Hopefully it holds up to taking the pulley off.

Going to tackle the water pump in a few hours once it breaks over 60°.
