Hello,
This is my very first post, so I hope I am doing it right.

I was wondering if any one of you could please advise me on where to find clearance lights that go on top of the cab? The truck is all stock.
All I have found on the internet are 300$ lights. Are they all really that expensive?
I am afraid of buying the wrong ones and have them not fit. Do the regular lights from the 2500 fit a 1500?

Am also looking for some off road full front bumpers. I haven't seen many people on this forum posting about them. Maybe they are not that usual in these trucks? (this is the first Ram I ever owned).

I work in a cattle ranch, therefore my need for a bumper. They come very handy out there in the fields some times. Also planing on adding a winch later on.
Am also looking for some hitches, but I just realized there is a special part of the forum for that.

Thanks in advance for your help and for everything else this forum provides. I have learnt a lot!

I still have the amber bulbs in them even though the lenses are white. I wanted them to still match my amber marking lights when running at night.

Ohoho, that looks absolutely fantastic!
My truck is also white.
I am debating between the amber and the clear ones like yours. I don't know how the amber lights would look on a white truck.

I would prefer the amber lens covers.

Indeed I do prefer the amber cap ones.

But I can't seem to find any on Amazon for my truck...

Not saying the clear ones look bad. But I just prefer the amber ones even though its a reg cab white colour.

I'll keep this as short as possible:

You can get clearance lights for you 1500. However, you will have to decide where you want to splice them in to. I wanted mine to come on like stock one's do with the parking lights. Therefore, I tapped into my turn signal constant power wire for power to the lights. Now, you WILL have to drill 15 holes in your roof. Two each for mounting and one each in the center for power wiring.

As far as getting the "right ones", I would look into Recon. That's what I have on mine. Had them on for a year and a half; no leaks and no lights have gone out. If you have any other questions, let me know.

Thank you very much for your input!
I am still debating if I want them directly to the parking lights as you said. Or have them separated and have control over them.
I ve seen into Recon and they all look very nice. I will have to continue debating if I will like having the smoked or clear ones on my truck.
I had never seen those before that is why I am not exactly used to them. All I've seen before are amber skins.

These are the ones that you are referring to, correct ?8620cfe0d79d3b7f6d968853863a6944.jpg

Yeah! Thats what I was expecting to find. As I said above, I am used to these and not to the clear/smoked ones. Recon seems to only carry these.
Maybe I should give them a try.
They dont look bad I think. Its just that I grew up watching amber skins only.

This is a mod that believe me you only want to do once. So my strong suggestion is to get exactly what you want. If amber is your thing, then go amber and enjoy. It may take you awhile to decide, but unless you have a mandate that says it has to be installed, take your time. :)

Could NOT agree more!! You definitely don't want to put these on and decide you want a different color or style once they are on. And the whole measure twice cut once.... it was more like measure 16 times and drill once!! :)

Indeed. I will take my time deciding. I will also make sure to measure 20 times before drilling!
Your's, with the smoked lens, and DARkNES' with the clear, look pretty cool.
Maybe I will decide for one of these instead. I would also like to buy from Recon, they seem to have an excellent reputation.

You can't go wrong with Recon, I just went oem for peace of mind. :)
