In the process of setting up a 2nd battery for aux power to run a fan in my canopy, inverter and charging station for some electronics.

I notice on the electronic charging plugs they are all converting standard 110V to 12V. Does this mean I can just snip the cord and wire directly via fuse and switch? I'm guessing this would cause an issue as electronics could be over charged?

Thoughts?

You need the whole circuit board. Most electronics only charge at 5v. 12v would get them in short time.

So does that mean the safest way for me to set this up is 12v off the battery to 120v inverter then plug all my chargers in to get 5v?

That or wire in 12v outlets and use car chargers.
