You're right....how did I not know about this brand when I was shopping for mine.

I always thought the Bushwackers stop kind of unnaturally where they do. I know it's because of the seam between the fender and the bumper...but how does EGR deal with that issue....those flares look like one piece.

You are correct, they are 1 piece. In the transition it just ties the 2 pieces together.

Lookin good!!! Do you know what brand lift, and other supporting mods?

It’s a rough country lift, which I know gets a bad rap but I had that on my 06 and it rode and worked great for the 5 years and 40k miles I had it on. This one rides even better. Plan on eventually switching the struts and rear shocks to bilsteins but not too worried right now about it. The wheels are 20” fuel Mavericks, not sure on the offset but they’re perfectly flush with the factory flares where I like it. Deezee brand running boards, they’re ok lol not too fancy. The mxt’s ride real smooth and aren’t very noisy, yet at least, especially on the highway they’re pretty quiet.

Posting this to share with any guys who are considering a similar setup.

This is a 2015 1500 4x4 that originally came with the stock 20" wheels and 275 width tires.

I wanted something a little aggressive, but without committing to a full lift. Also, I'm one of the rare guys that doesn't like the 20" and larger wheels, so I scaled back to an 18". I really like how this turned out.

  1. Level: Billstein 5100's
  2. Wheels: Helo HE879 18x9
  3. Tires: Toyo Open Country A/T 2's 185/65R18

I have a 2016 CC sport with 3.21s. I need to maintain a 7' garage door height as I will NOT park outside. What's the most lift & level I can do given the gears and height limitations (and the hockey puck antenna)? I'm riding stock wheels, and probably will for a long time. I don't want dwarfed tires, either, so a lift might start to make it look awkward.

TIA

Your 3.21 gear should not play a role in the lift, but rather the tire size. With 35s you are going to be hurting a bit on the 3.21. It really needs the 3.98. So, if you plan on going with 33s then you might want to go with a max of 4" lift.

Someone else can chime in though to make sure I am not wrong...but I have never heard of the final gear ratio having a factor in lift height.

To fit in the garage your max would be 4" lift and 35's but you might be better just to do a level and maybe 295/60/20 or 285's

Here's a tire size gear ratio calculator to see how tire size effects your ratio

I have 35" Toyos with a 4"/3" Zone lift with Bilsteins set at 0.7" and I clear my 7' garage door by 2" .... I've been told that 3.21's with the 8 speed tranny will do just fine for every day driving

Here is mine in a garage with a 7' door. I have the weatherstripping around the door frame so I lose about 2" for a total height allowance of 82".

I fit with the Nav puck with a 4" Superlift and 35's. You can see I still have a bit of room.

I also adjusted the height that the door pulls back to (using the garage door opener adjustment settings) so that the door doesn't sit before the door frame when up.

Joey, your truck was actually the one that gave me hope. I'll have to play with the door height, as right now I sit just below the frame.

As for the lift and gears, it wasn't so much the lift but the size tires I could use once lifted. I wanted a nice cohesive look, not odd parts slammed together

I might be ok on 295s :) from a cosmetic perspective. Just level it, and put 295s on it.

Mine door sat way below the frame. It was a simply press of a button on my Chamberlain door opener to bring it further up.
