I don't know what year truck you have but if you don't already have one I highly recommend a cabin air filter. Much less dust...

It's a 17
Are you referring to that mod where I have to cut up inside the truck behind the glove box?

Yes, you may not have to though. I think the 17 model already has the door, they just didn't install a filter in the factory. It takes all if 5 minutes to check.

I remember someone mentioning red map and dome LEDs. Anyone done this mod and have a good source for the LEDs?

I've done it. If you have factory LED map lights, it's easier to insert a small square of lamin-x behind the lens.

Whatever, think I’ll never get it. I know you boys love your 2nd amandement and playing around with guns, rifles and all that stuff, but c’mon, it’s the 21st century, not the Wild West anymore. lol
Ok, you keep sayin that. Let me know how you feel once you get robbed at gunpoint by a guy on *** in a AFFLUENT Houston area. Not for the first time.

Ask me how I know.... lol

Don't believe mine are LED, but I'll have to check. If they aren't, where did you get yours?

Here are the factory LEDs with red Lamin-x. I also filled the always on pin-hole light with Lamin-X and the OEM foot-well lights.

If you don't have factory LEDs or if you do and want to replace the bulb anyway you can use these which are cheap and good accessory bulbs.

Use this bulb if you DO NOT have factory LEDs
Cutequeen 4PCS LED Car Lights Bulb Red T10 3528 20-SMD 194 168 (pack of 4) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B2HHDS2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_KzxKAbKE6KSWP

Use this bulb if you DO HAVE factory LEDs (low profile so the lens/diffuser will fit back on) and want a brighter bulb. This only comes in white from what I see so you will still need to tint the lens with a small square of Lamin-x for a red light...
Cutequeen 10pcs LED Car Lights Bulb White T10 3528 8-smd 194 168 (Pack of 10) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GZGW47U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_VxxKAbE55T7HT

If you need Lamin-X go here and find the cheapest universal sheet of the color you want.

I did it on my Charger with blue LEDs. I got them from Diode Dynamics for $70 total or so which were the map lights, dome lights, glove box, rear interior lights, and the lights under the doors. I know you can find cheap sets on ebay or amazon, but I wanted quality, and from what I found, not all the bulbs are the same shape, so Diode lets you choose which bulb for which place to put it and you can buy all or leave out what you didnt want, in my case the license plate light. Most ebay ones I have seen are the same size in a pack of 10 or so. I am not sure, but I wanted the best I could find at the time and they had a 2 or 3 year warranty to boot.

What does everyone do for stuff sliding around in the truck bed? I have a bar to pin it to the rear but it always seems to fall loose!

I have installed full length pull out drawer and always secure load in it with cargo net or with ratchet straps depends what’s loaded.

Nice. I’m sure y’all have seen the bar you lay across the bed and it extends and shortens with the press of a Button. It isn’t a big deal but when I have detailing buckets, Softball’s, batting practice net it just gets annoying hearing it clang around in the bed!
