@SyN do you have to do this on your Cummins or is this just a Powerstroke thing?? Seriously this is ridiculous! Start at around 4:00

Similar.
I have 993 miles on her now without one regeneration. As far I know! Maybe have had one or two and never knew it.
But I do mostly highway/interstate driving with very little idle time.

Full deletion is in the future. But not in the Near future.

I have been chatting back & forth with a few owners whom have well over 100K miles with there 2014-15 with zero issues.
It’s all about your driving habits & fuel & routine maintenance habits.

These engines are happiest being worked.
They hate stop/go driving & idling. I get mine on the highway everyday & average 65-80mph in tow haul mode I try very hard never to lug my new motor. (For at least 15-18 miles).

I’m a true believer in truck stop diesel & Stanadyne Performance w\Hot Shot Secret EDT (3oz) per fill up. Some don’t use (believe) in using fuel additives. I Do!
(8oz Stanadyne w/3oz EDT) added too about 15gallons diesel every fill up.
I just don’t let my fuel tank drop too far below 1/2 tank before filling up.

Everyone has their quirks! I dam sure have my share!

I'm surprised we still have power here. Very windy and snowing, but not cold. It's right around 32, so it's barely sticking to the roads so far. I have 3 (Amsoil-filled) gens at the ready if the need arises.

Ramp: What type of gens do you own!
I have 1 Generac 5500 filled with Rotella T6.

I have our furnace wired with a plug so I can heat our house with the Generac. We are mostly Natural Gas so we still will have heat & hot water. Have enough to keep the frig working without dragging the motor down too bad.
She gets a good workout though. Need that 5W-40 in there for sure.

I really need to get a smaller / quieter one as well,

Technically, I have 5. One Generac 6500, one Energizer 3500 Inverter, two Predator 2000 Inverters with parallel kit, and a little Power Pro 2-stroke 1000 watt for powering a small mobile air compressor.

I have a Briggs and Stratton Elite 8000 with electric start. I put a manual 200 amp transfer switch that powers the whole house but I only run the essentials. I've had it since 2012 and this is the first time I've actually had to use it besides the monthly 20 min "exercise" runs I do. Hasn't used much gas since I started it at 7 either. So far I'm loving this thing!
