What kind of effect does the PC have while towing? I have a 2500 5.7 and wondering if it will help with hills or at stop lights. Seems like it takes forever to get going with our lite 5th wheel

It helps for sure. Keep it in city or sport and it's good to go. It gets rid of the lag and will downshift quicker instead of lugging

Yes it does help with towing. I tow 8000# bumper pull with another 1000 in the bed. Prior to PC I averaged 9mpg and seldom could get into 5th gear in tow/haul. Just finished a 13000 mile trip and the truck was in 5th gear a lot and mileage increased to 9.5mpg. It doesn't sound like much but over that long a trip it really adds up. I always run in sport +2 empty or towing. Just be careful while towing from a stop as this really makes a big difference on acceleration. Or just dial back the PC while towing.
I found a local guy that has one for 150$ so it would be worth the buy???
