How To: Install a 2018 4C (UAQ/UAS) Radio in 2013 - 2017 RAM

I'm not paying for any XM. Just curious how long I have left if the subscription. I bought the radio brand new. I will call them tomorrow

I don't believe the new "radio" comes with a subscription but rather the new "truck".

You should be able to access SXM though by a phone call. If your truck has an active subscription it can be transferred.

OK I got my SD/USB/AUX hub today for the 17 Challenger Part# 68294633AB that Cuylertech referred too, plus my harness from M2mods arrived today as well. Absolutely beautiful work guys as usual! The hub appears to be the same size as the Ram UAS/UAQ hub so I am hoping if I can find the storage bin for an 18 Ram this hub should be a direct fit. My truck came with the RA2 but it shows the SD card option on the UAQ/UAS radio because I actually activated the code in my BCM. I'm hoping it will work. I might try to install it tomorrow depending on the weather. I am borrowing STecoD's spare UAS until my UAQ gets here just to test and see how everything works. I will report back with any information.

I downloaded from RAm owner’s manual site. Selected 2018 Ram 2500, then under Additional Resources pick list the 4C/4C Nav is there.

It didn't work, so I thought I saw some where the pin out of the media hub conversion cable I bought from that guy, you told me to buy it from you have it handy? I was going to splice into that cable and see if I can get it to work.

There aren't any active USB related signals on the USB Hub Adapter harness we make... There's a separate Mopar USB cable between the hub and and radio.

My wife's new 18 Jeep Compass has a secondary USB port (hub) on the back of the console that is plugged into the one up front via a secondary USB cable. I suspect the PNs from those 2 items are what we need and I just need to take her Jeep apart for the PNs.
