Is there a Costco where u are? I posted Costco prices above from some other State, I think it was California, but prices don't usually change that much by location.

Between the batteries, cheaper gas and tire savings mine easily pays for itself, even if I buy nothing else there. Here Costco gas is 40 cents a gallon cheaper than anywhere else. Doesn't take many fills to cover the membership. Other option is to see if one of your buddies or kids has a card.

I guess I could look it up, but why do batteries crap out in 2-3 yrs in AZ heat? Are the plates sulfating? What's the root reason? Maybe I will look it up.

I usually 9-10 years out of a premium battery in our Great Lakes area. But 2-3 years is real low. It's not hot in AZ all yr long....

Its only hot for 5 months I have been here 20 years and only used oem batteries and onky get 2 years. Thats why this time im thinking a better battery. The premium ones are basically the same price as stock ones now

I have a 2021 warlock looks like my battery will die soon hopefully it will last until the end of the year. I have been looking at h8 agm batteries. I have narrowed it down to either interstate mtx-49/h8 or duralast agm platinum. Wanted to see what people think. Thanks
Walmart sells the best battery for my $. You can get a replacement everyday of the week. These part stores close way too much, and the warranty is not as good.

You are overthinking this a bit , get the Walmart Everstart , and be done . Price warranty etc. can’t be beat .

Best deal, longest life battery is the Wal Mart brand series, period.

I have a 2018 6.7 diesel. I know that diesel engines have a heavier load placed on batteries than gasoline but, when it came time to replace mine, I went with a Mopar battery. Believing that it was at least engineered for my particular vehicle.
I applaud you for taking your time to make an informed decision. When you are in a place that has no near services, or are somewhere where there is no qualified assistance, the battery you have is very important.
Mine were only marginally more expensive that other off-brand batteries when I watched for specials at my local Ram dealership. I have vehicles that have lasted 284K miles and always looked to OEM parts when available. (Other than air fresheners or cup holders!).
Good luck on your search.

Interstate AGM at COSCO are a good buy,, just my opinion but after researching they seem to have the best ratings around and the warranty is bulletproof..

Project Farm battery comparison I did this same thought process with my cars, trucks, SUV's, and year and a half ago for my boat with two battery banks. We all know the types, costs, warranties, etc. This video for me is enough data to make my decision from, worth the time to watch IMHO. Good luck with your decision.

It maybe bulletproof, but so is Walmart , but I’ll bet Costco the warranty is prorated. Which I believe Walmart is not for the first three years. I’ll double check , but pretty sure . I’ll be back if otherwise.

From what I see I have to agree i can not seem to find a walmrt in a 40 mile radius that carries the battery for the 1500. They dont have the stock battery or the h8. I went to a few also and they do not carry them seems strange to me.

Don't forget, Costco is the only place I know of that still provides a road hazard warranty on tires.

It's a 5-year, pro-rated warranty but quite generous for the customer. I've had a 2-year-old $400 tire replaced for about $35.

.

Just checked again and now walmart has them in stock
