I want a 5.9L and they said the injectors were done recently. I like that it is leather and I could pay it off pretty quick especially if I sell my truck. They are selling almost my exact truck in town at dealer for 30k and change. I owe 25 on mine. Down payment and boom I am paying less per month which is what I need with wife not working.

Wowsers on the miles. I'd be leary about that. The Cummins will last awhile yes...with the proper maintance. 260xxx miles of unknown maintnance is scary.

Try and find out more about it.

Just and fyi for ya, I got mine with 140xxx miles for a couple grand more

First one has 100hp injectors with a stock turbo...thats a bad sign already. Thats to much fuel for a stock turbo and I'm sure its been run hard and put away wet.

Second one needs a tranny...looking a $3-5K right there.

Third one seems to be a good deal!

5.9L is not known for having turbo issues though like the 6.7L did at first am I right? I am not worried about miles on the red one as it has not gooseneck and has newer injectors. I am going to go drive it tomorrow and see if I want it. I am not in a rush just looking to cut back. I really like the '95 because it is 12V old school great mileage.

Correct....BUT he has bigger injectors...pushes more fuel...more fuel without adding more air (big turbo) means high EGTs (exhaust temps)...there for = BAD!

Just drive the red one and go from there...take the oil cap off while its running and check for blow by (smoke coming out of the valve cover)...make sure the tranny is good, check the front end!

Good luck man!

HOLY ****!!! That mega cab is a steal! Jump on that one.... LIKE YESTERDAY!

Just for perspective, I payed $8k more for about 10k less miles. We don't know whats under the hood, but it is still worth looking at for sure!

Drove the red 06 today it has a messed up safety interlock, AC was not blowing cold and u joint(s) were bad at 65 mph plus. It was actually very nice for the miles IMO. Got back in my truck and realized I would need to find something more convincing.

St. Paul truck is no longer listed.

first truck was overpriced, I paid 12 for mine with 200k on the ticker, owned by an old guy who was a salesman and couldnt afford the gas costs anymore.

Just a note, the truck may be cheaper and get better mpg's but you need to maintain them correctly to make it worth while, so the cost comes out to the same or more then a gasser in maintenance and gas costs.

Also, something to thnk about parts for 98.5-2002 are cheaper than most other years injectors for my 2003 are 360.00 each for a stock injector and 1998.5-2002 are 750.00 total for 100hp injectors

Yeah I know the costs and implications of diesel and so far have not found anything I would want to be the replacement of my pride and joy I currently have. I love my truck just want to cut back.
