Durango .....the tires are 305/55/20, I need 35's but good for right now....
Big Horn.......thank you, he has one af the best looking lifted 4WDS around, take a look at it.
Texas..........The ride is real good, if you top out the springs with more than 3 inches the ride gets real bad, springy, and hits hard, these spacers make it ride real decent, smooth on the highway, I still have it and ride around south of Houston near 288
You will hear a lot of different ideas on the front of this truck, 3 inch spacers WILL kill the front ride, use 2.5, and use (2( of the 1/4inch spring isolators , ride almost as smooth as stock,I can show you pictures of why you dont want a longer front shock, no matter what dealers trying to sell you something tells you, you can only drop that control arm so far before you hit the bucket, if you remove the shock all together, then jack up the side of the truck, let the wheel droop all the way, look in there you will see the control arm hitting the bucket, on the top, you never want that while riding. that will also happen when you go over a pothole, the shock stops the travel just short of the hit, how far can the travel be extended from the the length of the stock shock?, about less than one inch, that is about all you have so shocks that are 3 inches longer in travel than stock are going to do what ? when you drive over a pot hole and the wheel falls down to follow the hole? that is something to remember
