Intsalled my 3" body lift over the weekend, changed my exhaust from a stack to a rear quarter exit through the body, and picked up some tsl's off good ole craigslist.

How'd the install go? And did you order that rear bumper bracket kit? Curious because I'm going with a 3" too.

Congrats man!! Kids are a blast! My son (1 and a half years old) also finally got a ride in my 98 ram this summer.

Question for you suspension guys. I currently have an AAL spring in my stock leaf pack which has started to level out a bit. I found someone local selling a set of brand new Rancho AAL springs very cheap. My plan is to add them to what I already have which would mean 2 AAL springs in each pack. My only concern is they are 2.3" wide and our springs are 2.5" wide. Anyone think the less than 1/4" difference in width will be a problem? Talking about just shy of 1/8" on each side.

The springs in question are Rancho RS60012 which are made for a Suburban 1500

If they are dirt cheap and you don't mind the idea that you might have to take them back out (who knows what the spring rate is for them) then I say go for it.

What did I do with mine today? Simple! I bought it! And drove it home 10 hours, from Nashville to Kansas City, KS. Took some backroads in Tennessee and Kentucky to enjoy the gorgeous scenery. Truck drove like a charm and hit 250k miles on the way home.

I just never found them that good. Power, reliability, mileage (yeah I know.. I'm one to talk about mileage getting 6 MPG)

Either way congrats on the new truck bud

Started to pull off the front driver side wheel hub and my socket was too small for the big nut that holds it on the shaft. So I have to buy another socket. Any one know for sure what size it is? I'm thinking 1 5/8" since my 1 ¹/²" is too small.
