Does anyone know what the AA stands for on the end of the part number 68288763AA. I have a 2018 ram 1500 Laramie and purchased a mopar brake controller and i have noticed that these numbers are different from each controller. Factory Hitch - Weight Distribution??
I use the factory hitch with my weight/ sway control hitch system for hauling my camper 1000's of miles and about the same weight as you describe. It does everything it should but, be aware of the load being put back on the camper to much and you could bend the trailer tongue. Be careful...- Aram guy

Trailer brake controller
I have a 2018 i just bought that has the 392 rear end but no trailer brake controller. My question is if i install a trailer brake controller would it matter if it is a MOPAR part or can it be after market? Will the after market (off brand) perform the same and be programmable with no issues...
