Just got home from picking my truck until from the dealer service department. Glad everything I took it in for was fixed but I walk around back and this is what I see next to the third break light they replaced...A NICE DENT!!!! Wtf.. I immediately called the dealership and the service advisor... -

Did the same you did got mine from amazon though..much cheaper than the HR kit for the same bulbs lol..paid $60 for bulbs and anti flicker/canbus adapters....same quality for much less than the HR kit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Correct, it will only allow you to retain the USB port, but car play will not work. I ran the usb extension cable that came with the unit down through the center stack behind the trim and under the glovebox/passenger foot area-out of sight out of mind and my lighting cable is always plugged in...- bpa88

It’s not hard to install the bulbs-just be careful removing the grill I broke like 3 clips on the back of it lol...it’s still on tight though since the top bolts on and the bottom clips still hold. I was worried about the flickering and error but so far I haven’t experienced any of the above... -
