I was going to order a notch and bridge kit for the truck tomorrow, but I've decided to forego the kit, order one piece notches and build the bridge myself so that I can have the say on where and how things look and fit instead of being stuck with the kit.- Bullitt5339

Painting chrome bumper
Yep. Look for a local place that sells replacement body parts to the auto body shops. Here, it's Jerry's Bumper Sales. They had my bumper in stock. I went with a CAPA certified bumper which are normally better quality and it was still like $130.- Bullitt5339

Bagging the truck completely would actually be cheaper than the route I'm going and to be honest, I've thought long and hard about it. The only thing that stopped me is the possibility of a failure while towing a trailer long distances.- Bullitt5339

It's nice to have the bags to protect the fuel tank for normal driving. I've probably got 2.5" of clearance right now with no air in the bags. Putting just a little in them gives me enough room to drive without worrying about it, but then I can dump the air when I want to show off. With it...- Bullitt5339

Painting chrome bumper
I see one immediate problem that could be fixed in 10 minutes. They have the front of the bumper shoved too far up in the front. There should be some space under the grill and headlights. Up too high in the front will cause alignment problems on the sides. I figured that out the hard way...- Bullitt5339
