What DON'T you like about your RAM?

Man I hear this a lot. Mine doesn't rattle yet...I hope it stays that way :| Has yours always rattled or did it take some time?

    Using nuetral to "downshift"

I have a friend of mine who has a 2016 Ram 1500 (5.7L V8 HEMI) just like mine, 8-spd automatic. He's sometimes disappointed when he floors it to get on the highway, and it doesn't downshift like he wants...so he does this thing where he shifts into nuetral, floors it to whatever RPM (I can't...

How long you had your truck? What year? I have a 2016. Daily driver for the past year. Not a single rattle, thing is smooth as butter.

You'd be right. Prius has a stick shift automatic. Again, this is the statement I'm addressing. It is not "dumb" to turn a knob to a gear. Disliked by some? Sure. But, dumb? Nope.

Even if all I got was one extra cup holder, that would still be better than a ginormous shifter to put your car into Drive and Reverse. If you want a shifter, go manual. And to clarify, I'm not even bashing the automatic stick-shifter or column-shifters. Both are fine. I'm only addressing...

What DON'T you like about your RAM?

To be clear, I was referencing a comment that literally said their manhood was questioned because of the dial shifter. I actually prefer manual transmissions. My first car was stick-shift, and I learned how to drive that before I ever touched an automatic. I love that level of interaction...

    No-hassle, drill-free holster mount

Pistol looks fairly elevated...enough for the passenger to see? I prefer a bit more concealability, but nice setup either way!

What DON'T you like about your RAM?

Bro, you can't be serious. More/bigger cup holders, phone mounts, storage space, outlets, etc...the amount of things that can replace a big shifter in the center console are endless. Besides, everything's digital nowadays, why even bother trying to create the illusion of actually switching...

Crew Cab means I might take a few more trips when moving stuff (small bed), but the extra interior space is always a nice thing to have when I need it too.

What DON'T you like about your RAM?

Interesting. I guess I'm just different. I've gone from sport car manual, to shifter automatic, to dial selector, to truck manual, to column shifter...all throughout my life, and never had any problem adapting. My first exposure to dial selector was when I got a rental. Instantly fell in love...

I don't understand this. Sounds more like a memory problem than the gear selector? Lol

    No-hassle, drill-free holster mount

Forward and backward movement only happen when I'm literally moving it with my hand, before holstering the pistol. Once holstered, the weight of the pistol holds the holster in place (the seat also prevents backwards movement) The slight lift before catching is a non-issue, IMO. What matters...

What DON'T you like about your RAM?

Rofl at the tan pillar covers...I got a good chuckle out of that one. I do agree that the molded storage space underneath backseats feels like it could've been better, but I do use it (I store an umbrella, chamois, gallon of windshield fluid and a few cleaning supplies) and it's better than...
