Yea...I have a 2016. Was looking at a 6K travel trailer till my wife got involved and ended up with a 7.5K unit fully loaded. The 3.21 is rated at 8K towing....getting close to limit. Was just wondering what my options were if the 3.21 does not cut it. Guess will just keep in tow mode with...
I have a 3.21 rear end and will be pushing limit with a 7500# trailer I tow. IS it possible to upgrade/change to a 3.92 rear end by replacing the ring and pinion gear and not changing the whole rear end/axle. Have never worked on these so have no clue.
That is the manual drogue chute release in case the explosive bolts do not work. It is on every Soyuz space capsule....wait dammit. I am posting in the wrong forum again.....
Coming up on warm weather here in Georgia. I am getting ready to do first oil change on my 2016 Hemi. (Yes I know dealer does the first few changes free but I like to do my own.) I tow a 6000# travel trailer in the summer months. I know that 5w-20 is the "recommended" oil but I still kinda...
I installed LED lights in the high beams using lights from OPT7. You do have to use the small resistors that they supply or you will get a CANBUS warning. I installed same type lights in my foglights also. Used HID for low beams.
2016 Laramie with projector housing. I mounted the HID resistors to the metal frame that surrounds the fan. The relay is against the fuse box in front of battery. The ballasts are actually behind the light housings. I ran the wires across in front and above of radiator along a pre-existing...
Don't know about the non-Alpine system, but on the Alpine you only get a mid-bass output to the front doors. Putting any type of full range speaker is a waste. Look for a pair of 2ohm mid bass speakers...if it's like the Alpine and you do not get full range to speakers.
I am in bargaining stage of buying a Lance 2285 27ft trailer to tow behind my Laramie 5.7 hemi. Dry weight is about 5K with load at 6K. That is about the max I would want to tow....but I have the 3.21 rear end. On camper forums plenty of other people pulling same trailer with same truck set...

I did not use the included crossover. I used a old set that was more compact. really, since the speakers only receive...
Thanks for replies. I have 3.21 rear end. Great for mileage but hurts the tow capability some. Since the trailer is 2000# less than max tow I did not go with the 3.92 rear end.
