I looked but the pads were good condition, took every wheel off and inspected because I was also doing a tire rotation at that time. I've only owned the truck for a year or two maybe. Doesn't mean they weren't serviced at a dealer prior.
I have a 2014 2500 with factory brakes and shoes with plenty of life left on them.
I've noticed lately that when I apply brakes, there is a brief second or two squeal then it stops and I don't hear it again for the entire braking process. It happened while I was towing our 22' boat and may be...
At one point, I wired the horn to a toggle switch. If the switch is on, the horn works in tandem with the stock horn... If the switch is off, just the stock horn honks. At one point, I had a whole separate button for the horn but the problem with both of these is you need to fidget around a bit...

Second question, is it possible that water(from past ice/condensation since the prior few weeks it was in the 30/40s) got...
So my air powered, triggered from the steering wheel horn, train horns stopped working and I'm not sure why.
The air tank has air in it, and solenoid for the horns is clicking when I press the horn button but no air horns. I opened the air tank purge valve to make sure there was air and some...
