Gang, am looking all over for some help for this question. The automatics use a high engine idle to frontthe rpms up when they want and this is activated by the cruise ccontrol. In the owners manual says should work it, I pulled my car just to give the Cummins some "exercise" the family thinks am weird and says I must be the only one who reads the manuals and does this. I had the same concern with the needle not moving and the dealer said nothing's wrong, and I was told based on my driving I dont use much. Greg you are right these ones in my tradesmen are trash during wet conditions, I put a brush guard on and will add some fog lamps to help out also.
