I don't run a sway bar on the front of mine. Kept blowing sway links every 30 days in RI so I just removed the damn thing. Got tired of replacing them. It sways like a boat if you make rapid lane changes but honestly if you don't take turns really fast no issues. I plan on reinstalling it...
I had the same issue. Clean your throttle body. Use starter fluid to clean it and detach it from the truck. I ended up getting the solution from a Dodge Tech and it's been flawless for over a year and a half now. Take it out and clean it good.
With the crazy pricing of Uhual auto transport rentals I think I am going to pick one up. I have an 03 Ram 5.7 QC and I am looking for a trailer brake setup. I have a multi pin connecter in the back of the truck. Any recommendations? Is there an OEM setup that mounts in the dash?
Did you ever figure out the high's low's issue? I'm not sure if the 04's have the canbus setup but I can tell you I ran into the same issue on my 03. I had to swap the wires on my harness (not the trucks, the aftermarket harness). The harness has 3 sets of wires (on the drivers side), I...
Only issue is they are noisy as others have said. I need to grease them more. I didn't grease the zerks when I installed them. Definitely load them up. I need to add more though.
It is an 03 Thunderroad Quad Cab 1500 SLT Laramie. It has the factory lip kit on it. Can someone who has the right holder show me a photo of give me a part number? I picked up one for a sport bumper and it doesn't work.
How's it going.
Regarding the resonator, no resonators on my truck. Just a cat and a muffler. The water tank muffler is gone though. I got to drive it the past couple days and it definitely is the little bit of sound I am looking for.
So I didn't want to go to a performance shop and get ripped off and finding somewhere to do exhaust work up here in RI is a pain. Either way a big thanks to Moes. So the closest to a direct swap is as follows
2003 Thunder road QC 1500
Picked up a magnaflow 12229 muffler from Moes, got it...
I know you have probably checked this but ensure your rim is flush mounted to the truck. Friend of mine installed a wheel to what looked flat and it actually had a very slight angle on it and same symptoms. I removed the wheel, seated it perfectly flat, all good to go.
Retrofit is the way to go. There are plenty of online tutorials regarding how to do this and with the flexibility of the morimoto h1 projector it is now easier then ever to do this. I just split a set of 03 headlights apart 2 nights ago. 250 degrees, 10 minutes, gloves, carefully pry apart...
Ok and thats for a G3 Ram? I'm assuming hes using the AMP adapter as well ( not sure how else to do this)
It would be the most recent version if I get them. I just hate to waste a set of brand new bulbs and adapters.
I did a retrofit on my car and I ended up having to swap from d2s to d2h bulbs for it to fit. That being said I have a brand new set of d2s bulbs and AMP adaptors.
TRS now sells mini d2s projectors, similar to their mini h1's. I want to put these bulbs to use and I was wondering if any of...
