Could be anything. Does the number change when you crank/drive or change when accelerating/ operating temp? If it doesn’t change no matter what happens, could be for onboard air that previous owner installed and took off before trading in.

I know this is a sucky work around, but supposedly tow/haul disabled mds as well. Have you tried putting it in tow mode and limiting it to 1st gear?

I would think if you were hit in the passenger side and it did not contact the bed, the bed would slide to the passenger side if a little loose. Or rather, the bed would not have slid to the driver side with the frame. If that makes sense.

That was a comment as to when I had the lower spring perch upside down. Linear or not, (which they appear to be) when I compressed the springs by the extra 3 inches or so by having that upside down, the ride was tremendously rougher. Every bump hole and wave in the asphalt was exaggerated...
So got it all pulled off ...and put back on correctly. Funny how that makes so much of a difference. Lol. Thanks for all the help guys.

With the nose so high and the feeling of wanting to leave the ground when I hit a bump from having the springs so compressed, I thought I might take off.

So I got it taken back apart and put back together correctly this time lol. I like the look of the 2.1. Rides so much better now than with the. Nose in the air and the coil springs over compressed. Thanks everyone for the help.

I didn’t measure, but something isn’t right. And the ride is really stiff. If I did put the spring seat upside down, will it hurt to riddle on it until the weekend?
