Again those number are based on a 2x4 no option regular cab. If you compare a 6.4 crew cab 4x4 2500 with similar options to a PW you do lose some but it's not as bad as it seems. I had a '14 1500 with 5.7, 8 spd, and 3.92s. It also was leveled with 35s. Nice truck and would average around 17 mpg day to day with 19 ish on the highway. I now have a '15 PW. No lift or mods but 35s have been added. I've only got about 4k miles now but I'm lucky to be averaging 12.5 mpg or...- oz97tj

Alternative to Rigid Industries
LED bars are very illegal in traffic. As for quality, it depends on what you want from the light. I'm a bit of a light nerd. I've had lots on different vehicles and motorcycles. Those lumens ratings are what the LED is rated for but even the best on the market are usually only being pushed... -

I live close to AEV. I've wheeled with many of their guys with jeeps. Good guys with great stuff. I've also spent a fair amount of time drooling over their Ram's. They are badass. Well that's not exactly being fair. I just bought a 15 PW with a sticker of $56k for $44k out the door. I priced diesels of similar spec with stickers of $60 to $62k and I c was being quoted Icould be out the door for around $50 ish. The sticker price of the truck is sort of irrelevant. Assuming similar options, the diesel is around 5k more. Usually a dealer will give a little more on a normal truck with a diesel but vs the specialty vehicle PW but it's not much. Also, you didn't add front locker or a winch so you aren't...- oz97tj

That's quite the statement. Assuming similar trim levels, a diesel is about 5k more than a PW. Add even a lower end Charlie and you adding 3k. Winch is 1500 on the low end before you mount it. Take a breath hot rod. I did use my Diablo to change all those settings on my 14 1500. I now have a 15 2500 so I haven't use it yet on this truck as they haven't cracked it yet.- oz97tj

The diesel market has tuner's that a great but those same brands aren't so great with gasses. The reverse is also true. I just don't think Diablo is the company you'd want for gas. My commute has no highway. Two lane roads with a handful of stops here and there. That's about 13. Highway barely hits 13 if I set the cruise around 70 ish. Much faster and the mpg drops to 12.5 or so. On a trip earlier this week, I did about 600 miles round trip mostly two lane 55 mph...- oz97tj

I have a 15 PW with 35s. No lift or other mods. I'm getting around 13 back and forth to work fairly easy on the throttle. Longer two lane 55 mph drives I can hit 14. Highway I'm still at 13 ish. I have about 3000 miles right now.- oz97tj

Agreed. I jumped up to the 2500 for the stronger drive train and better capacities (and I wanted the Power Wagon) but really went back and forth because that 8 speed was always so good. I've only put 6600 or so miles on the new truck so far but I'm really missing the 8. This 6 speed sucks...- oz97tj
