Yeah, it probably is longer than the 10 seconds. The motor is definitely done with it’s cold “high rev” start up. So I’m thinking exhaust manifold bolts too

So my 2013 5.7 with 74’000 miles just started making a ticking sound. Only on cold start up for about the first 5 to 10 seconds the goes away. Is this the infamous Hemi tick or could it be the manifold bolts?

18” Maggy with resonater removed. Nice deep rumble at startup, mild when cruising & idling but roars when you lay the gas to her.......and no drone when MDS is off!

Like others have said, I’ve had to turn mine off a couple times to let others (family & mechanics) drive my truck. Then I forget to turn it back on when I get back in it and realize how much of a difference this thing really makes......night & day difference! My favorite mod to date!

I forgot to mention that I “don’t” love my 6 spd trany when the MDS is activated (it’s all over the place). I keep it off as much as possible. I also have a Pedal Commander and that really made a big difference when/how my trany shifts and acts.

I also have a 2013 6 spd 5.7 Tradesman and love it! Transmission is smooth and shifts when I want/need it to. Mine has the 3.92 gears so that helps too. I do wish mine had the overhead console and better radio though.

I put some black ones on my truck 2 years ago and I love them! Best $60 I ever spent. Mine are 17’s though. Most people don’t realize there skins. Hard to tell, even up close.

Yeah, I wonder about that too.
I seen where several guys also tried it on there CAI and they said it actually kept there intake air colder.
Hey, if it’s on the internet then it’s got to be true.......right? lol
