Figured it out. As I was heading up to the trans shop for a diagnosis, the truck threw a code. Checked it and sure enough it was P0307. Misfire in cylinder 7. Replaced the ignition coil and now it’s all good

1) I checked the fluid level when hot in neutral on level ground. Is it possible to be too full to cause this problem? Doesn’t seem WAAAY over but it’s above the hot line.

Whelp, good news and bad news. Good news: I know what’s wrong. Bad news: constant misfiring in cylinder 7. P0307 and p0157 came up. Miss in 7 and low voltage for bank 2 downstream o2 sensor. Had the 02 code previously but now getting the miss. Gonna take the plug out and diagnose tomorrow

Lol I didn’t do the work, a “trusted” mechanic did. I’ve since decided he’s quite crap at his job so an improperly gapped plug is probable. I’ll be checking them first

Been somewhere around 30k. Not sure brand or type plugs that went in or if they did the wires then. Just bought the truck at that time. I was pretty young and naive to know what I was doing
