    Help with Leaking Rear End Seal

    Hi, I have a 99 RAM 1500 4X4 AUTO. I have a leak at the rear end pinion seal. I have all ready replace the seal, but it still is leaking pretty bad. I'm looking at the yoke for wear , has very minor wear. I installed new U joints , so I had the driveshaft out. Thanks ahead of time!

    I figured out it was a bad oil sensor, it had come apart at the cap on the sensor. Looked like someone had just snapped it back together.

    how many of you tow with a 2 gen dodge

    2nd gen tow w/ 5th wheel Hi, I tow a Dual axle 5th wheel cow trailer and a single axle utility trailer with 4 5x5 cow hays at a time. truck is a 1500 w/ extra leaf springs and beefed up brakes, trans blew up once now has another cooler beefed up transmission.

    What did you do to/with your second gen today?

    I repaired a short in my transmission today, changed electric's in trans. Then on second ram I removed transfer case, found case cracked with no oil in it and needing a new transfer case a 231 from a 96 cor 97

    Hi, tried what you told me with NO Luck! Scaned truck and found a code for solenoid bad, so I ordered one off the net. I will put it in when it comes, I sure hope that the solenoid cures my problem.

    Yes I adj. both bands per the manual. I will try what you wrote. Don't recall the manual about filling the valve body? Thanks again.

    Hi, I had a problem where my overdrive broke and broke my drive shaft too. Replaced everything that broke up even the valve body, and now the transmission won't shift out of 1st gear. All fuses are good. Not sure what else to check? Thanks ahead of time!
