So far my best mpg was 16.8 but my dash read 18.8, I think its is off by a % not a straight 2mpg across the board. When the truck reads 9.5 mpg towing, I get 9 mpg calculated.
I got over 50k on mine running 33x12.5R20's pulling trailers grossing over 30k at times. I still had tread to spare but ruined one and replaced the set.
Mickey Thompson, Cooper, and mastercraft are all made by cooper usa.
I have mastercrafts on the front of my 2wd service truck, its not worth paying more for 3 ply coopers on a truck that won't be spinning its front tires.
Is there a way to change the tire pressure alert to a lower number? Unless I'm planning to tow I'd prefer to keep all tires at 50-60 but the alert is coming on at 65 psi on the rears
I used to run nothing but firestone and always got 40-50k on my half tons. My '18 ram had the rear tires air to 90 when I got it, doesn't help tire life or my back.
So I have a Newb question. I have never heard of PUP oil and I haven't came up with the answer to the abreviation.
Otherwise I am not up to my first oil change yet on the Ram but have ran redline in our ford edge for 135k miles with 225 on the car currently. I have 0w40 royal purple and a wix...
Thats a decent deal. About what my wife pays for oil change and rotation on her impala at the dealer.
All gas engine oil changes are like $30 and they charge 85/hr but only charge 30min on the rotation.
If my ram dealer had that deal I'd take it. I'm going to check in on that.
