First and last time Dodge Ram owner
Since 97 til this March I've had two vehicles. Both bare bones Chevy 1500 trucks. Loved them both. I only traded each as my family grew. This year I buy a RAM. I needed a Crew Cab. Seven months in a RAM I'm ready for another Chevy.- TARDIS

Sure, but I don't like recalls especially right after going to the dealership to have one taken care of. I also don't like dealership service departments. Sorry some of you have a problem with that.- TARDIS

A free "upgrade" on something that shouldn't be an issue. I was just in for a recall getting the cruise repair. Two weeks later I hear I have to go back again. I have a life outside this truck. Recalls. I've owned my 2015 for five months. I just had the cruise control recall done two weeks ago. Today I find out my tailgate is recalled but parts aren't available. Now I know why RAM trucks don't hold their value like the other two brands.- TARDIS

2014 1500 Transmission Leak
Good service at a dealership is hard to find. I just bought a 2015 RAM in March from a Hyundai dealership. Two weeks ago I schedule at the RAM dealer I was recommended by friends for the cruise control recall. They did the recall just fine as far as I can tell, but before I left they quoted me...- TARDIS

Why did you buy your truck?
I bought my RAM because I needed a bigger back seat for my kids than my Silverado ex cab offered. I also didn't want to spend $2000 on a new cap. Found a 2015 RAM crew cab with a cap. It had the best price for the milage, year, and had a cap. It doesn't seem as solid as my previous two bare...- TARDIS

FINAL UPDATE: U61 recall work done, no more cruise control!
I use my cruise control all the time. If it doesn't turn on I tap the steering wheel and then it works, but one time it wouldn't turn off. It took four times hitting the off button while mashing the brakes. Not a fun experience. My recall service is scheduled for Friday morning. -
Any have 15% tint on the front windows?
I bought my truck used and the windows were all tinted. I tried to drive with them rhat way. A lot of my driving is early morning or late evening. I had a hard time seeing to make turns. Left turns especially. It didn't take me long to remove the tint from the front windows. -
Alignment with new tires?
I have never gotten an alignment with new tires. If they're wearing fine it's not necessary.- TARDIS
