TC Locking/Unlocking or Bad TBS???
I have a 2002 ram 1500 4.7L, while cruising at highway speeds the truck will jump a few hundred RPMs then go back to normal. It only does this in OD it seems like. The truck accelerates cleanly and doesn't have any stutter to it. Could this be a sign of a bad torque converter or bad throttle...- ToboJosh

TPS? Torque Converter issue?
When I am cruising on the highway at a constant speed, the rpm's will sometimes jump a few hundred and I can hear the engine rev. The truck has 151,000 miles on it. So the TPS would be the place to start at? I have read that it there could be a faulty ground somewhere... not too sure where that could be though.- ToboJosh

There is no engine light that was triggered. When I hammer the gas, the truck runs and picks up smoothly. The tranny shifts gears smoothly also.
