Leak, Driver A pillar, coming out from between sheet metal.

Yea, no chance I was going to just seal where it's coming out. That's an interesting procedure. I may try it.

Leak, Driver A pillar, coming out from between sheet metal.

Original one for sure That would only stop it from coming out there, not from wherever it's getting in I agree, but that doesn't change the outcome. I hit all the seams and even the 3rd brake light and shark fin.

Leak, Driver A pillar, coming out from between sheet metal.

This is a picture from below of the driver a pillar area (visor would be attatched to that white plastic). I have a leak seemingly coming from between the sheet metal circled in green migrating down slope on the green lines. It does not seem to come from above ,where the windshield meets, but...

Axle weight increase with TW, explain why I'm dumb.

Someone explain to me why I'm stupid. Trailer tongue weight measured 900lb. Truck on scales, 5klb. Lower trailer fully onto ball, truck only increased by 400lb. AFAIK the full 900lb should have been added to the trucks rear axle, and some of the weight should have transferred from the truck...

    Payload

It says it's an "estimate" in the brochures you're reading because it's different for every single car, that's why it's on the sticker you claim doesn't exist... On every single car, specific to that exact car. Because it's an important actual thing. This is an example of why I only respond to...

I just went with the first google hit, it really doesn't make a difference. Want me to change it just for you?

    Payload

Let me try explaining this backwards; This is one of the worst case scenarios if you pretend like "payload isn't real". Calculating payload from GVWR as has been claimed is correct; 3027+2175 (weights empty tank) +166 (avg human) = 5368 base weight = 1532 payload =6900 GVW Possible axle load...

    Payload

I responded to the relevant portion of your reply, because most of what you reply with is not relevant to the discussion and just taking things off track. Just like you're doing now. You continually say that I said thing's I didn't, like "you can ignore GVWR" which I never said. Yes, because...

    Payload

You left out the possibility of leverage for the payload. It's also a hell of a lot easier in a 1500 over your 2500. But all this is moot, the point here is it's very possible, and that's all it needs to be to not be "asinine" Twice moot because, again, it wasn't even the point of the post...

    Payload

This is called a straw man argument. I never said that. This is not subjective, this is the way the ratings are determined. You haven't even said how you believe GVWR is determined, let alone "proved" anything. And you certainly did not "prove" that the stickers that have payload on them do...

    Payload

Thanks for further proving my point. You can't do that because you could far, far too easily be under GVWR while overloading an axle. Empty your fuel tank and fill your bed till your at GVWR. Congrats, you're over GRAWR, or, as a lot of people do, pull the bed and put an aluminum flatbed, same...

    Payload

No surprise, even explained to you, you still don't get it. As for your revisiting payload; No, we went through all that because you said payload isn't a thing nor exist on stickers, but because you got 100% proven wrong on that you decided to try and pick apart something else I said. You were...

    Payload

Saying GVWR is determined by subtracting base weight from GVWR is ignorant at best. As I said, that is a derivative understanding. GVWR is determined by payload capacity. Let me say that again, GVWR comes from payload. It's not the other way around. Saying payload is determined by GVWR is...

    Payload

K, how do you think GVWR is determined? You're using derivative knowledge, that simplifies to what you think, and that's fine if you actually believe payload is a "thing". But when you claim it's not and you can ignore and just pay attention to GVWR, you become ignorant. Hint; axle...

I wasn't given any information, I know everything that you think you do and more. I simply corrected the portion of your statement which was wrong. And I quoted only that portion. You think if you say 10 right things and one wrong thing, that somehow makes it OK to say something wrong...
