Do they ever change color options mid-year?

I had a 2015 black on order back in Jan 2015, and they changed the colors while my order was waiting. They discontinued solid black and went to a metallic black. So it happens, but it's rare.

Best looking lifts for 1500 CC with a 6'4" bed? Show me your pics?

    Mine's a CC 6'4" with Bilstein's at 2.8".

Comparison of 2500 size to 1500 lift.

Also agree with the posts above, 4" lift ain't gonna get you the look of a leveled 2500. When I was shopping, I measured a few trucks on the lot. The front fender of the 1500 is typically 36.5"-37" and the 2500 is 40.25"-40.75". So close to 4" difference stock. Same story in the back, 40"...

    Bilstein 5100 vs Rancho quicklift

Here's a reference for you. My truck has bilsteins at 2.8 and 1" spacers in the rear, and a 500 lb tongue weight definitely has it squatting in the back. But it looks great unloaded. My house is on the water so I only have to tow once or twice a year. If I towed regularly I'd have airbags in the...

    Bilstein 5100 vs Rancho quicklift

I installed a new set of Rancho QLL on my 2015 when it was new last year, but I eventually had to replace them with Bilsteins to get a decent lift. Stock, the front driver fender was 36.5" from the ground. With the Ranchos, it was 37-7/8". I was one of the lucky ones that only got 1-3/8" of...

Anyone runnign Bils at 2.8 on 2012s??

2015 with stock UCAs and Bilsteins at 2.8. Been running this way since the truck was new, a little over a year now. No need for new UCAs with Bilsteins at any setting. The guys that recommend new UCAs with this setup haven't 'been there done that'. Trying to find a truck with UCA problems and...

Alright guys.. BILSTEINS post your pics!!!

How much rake do you want? Personally, I like a slight rake, so that the truck doesn't look so sagged out when you tow a boat, load the bed, etc. But it's all personal preference at that point. At 2.8 you'll be very level.

Alright guys.. BILSTEINS post your pics!!!

This is an urban legend based on the fact that the older TRX4 trucks were taller. The Outdoorsman is the same height as the regular 1500, all the front suspension parts are the same. Stock front ends, Outdoorsman or not, typically measure 36.5"-37" stock. I hope you aren't at 33.5" :Big Laugh:

Bilsteins at 2.8", stock UCAs 1" Daystar poly rear spacers KC09116BK DPR Commandos, 20x9, 0 offset Nitto Terra Grappler G2 295/60/20 Love this setup. No compromises at all, looks and drives better than stock, and it's been totally reliable.

    Bilsteins are on!!!

To get the true weight rating out of your E tires you'll need to run 80 psi. But, who really carries 3000+ lbs per tire on the rear axle of their 1500? Nobody. So you can typically run them down around 38 just like you were advised and get a ride that's as good or better than stock. At 80 psi...

Why's their not a sticky thread for bilsteins only??

The '35' debate rages because the tires vary so much from brand to brand. Sure a quality, name brand 35 may rub, but many of the off brand asian tires say '35x12.5' on the sidewall, but they're really 34" tires, so they fit. So if you want to say you have a 35, and save cash, get those! LOL...

    Bilsteins are on!!!

Don't sweat it, that problem doesn't apply to your setup. We've been going through the same bad recommendations for years now on this forum. The guys that recommend UCAs can't (or won't) explain the technical difference between a spacer lift and the lift method employed by Bilstein and Rancho...

Bilstein 5100 front end alignment issues...

This isn't a common problem, but I could see how it could happen. After aligning my truck at 2.8", my driver's side camber adjuster is very near it's travel limit. So if your truck's chassis was built a little more out of spec, you wouldn't have enough range. After all, the adjusters are there...

Beating the dead horse...question about bil 5100

You don't need new shocks if you install a 1" spacer in the rear, the stock shocks work just fine. Been running that exact setup for a year now. Bils set to 2.8" and no spacer in the rear can make the truck look nose high, as others have mentioned. The fender heights may measure level front to...
