Folks:

Looking for a little guidance here as I have zero experience with lifting any trucks. I have a 2018 Power Wagon and was looking at making it just a little bit taller. In particular, I'm looking at the Rough Country 2.5" suspension lift as it looks like it comes with a shock relocation bracket for the front and it appears that nothing is needed other than the spacer for the rear. Does anyone have any experience with this kit or advice pros or con? Thanks in advance and looking forward to learning all you folks have to offer.

You're already 2 in above stock with the PW. I would level the front and leave the rear alone

Thanks for the replies folks. I'm not new to Rams, just to the Power Wagon and gas engines. Had Rams since 1998 but always with the Cummins.

I hear what you are saying about already being up by 2". But, if good was good enough, I would only have one son and I have 2 !!! Also plan when replacing this set of tires to go with 35"s so I think a little more would be OK. You know the saying, "if a little is good, then a lot is a whole lot better". I know that is not always accurate and hence the question.

SOCAL:

Thank you for the welcome and I will get some photos posted but since the weather has been rainy, I would be embarrassed for people to see such a pretty truck so dirty!!!! I'm really not that lazy.....

37s fit in rear without rubbing.. when you lift with spacers you change the factory geometry and make it less capable not more... 37s rub up front so a level helps...

Only way a lift would be better in PW is a full suspension lift with new springs, shocks and hardware...

That said what you're doing is reversible so go for it

Docpaulo:

Thanks for the advice and your answer was exactly what I was looking for. I was concerned about just using spacers both front and back. I'm hesitant to only have the leveling kit as I see way too many trucks with the front higher than the rear. I personally don't care for how that looks. If I do add a larger spacer in the front, will it affect alignment?

Thanks for your guidance!
