Sitting in my driveway. No accidents, with some rust. Original in every way, but rough. Looks like it has lived outside its whole life. Starts and runs but needs some TLC. Any idea what it is worth? Just a range of value would be helpful. Complete novice here.

This is an example of what we have in my area. It's a V-6 instead of the slant six (my personal preference would be the slant six).

You consider that truck rough? In New York state that would be a miracle.

Been a while since I have even seen a slant 6... Last one was in a 74 Dart Ex wife had. Change the oil, throw some anti freeze in there, friggin run forever. U not gonna get much for that truck: OP< might be worth more as a Project vehicle to clean up and restore. Restored and cleaned up, be a heck of a ride.

Me personally I would wash and decon it. Get some Iron X from Carpro. Use Carpro Iron X Soap its pink get it really clean and then I would hand wax it with Meguiras 105. I did a late 80s Mazda truck that was that bad, and it came out nice.

Yes as said give it a good clean and polish, put a good set of set covers on it , a good battery and I can see 1800-2000, Good old trucks are damn hard to find that arn't beat to hell or rusted out.

Just sold mine for $6500. But I put a 4BTA Cummins/47Rh with a 9" Ford rear in it. Dakota buckets and console.
Paid $1200 10 years ago with a Leaning Tower of Power and a 4 speed. That truck was a blast to drive. Had big plans, just got tired of the rust up here in PA.
