I've got a buddy who has a 14 2500 6.7 160,000 miles that i just dpf deleted with an H&S Tuner A month ago. He says now everytime he goes to pass someone or gives it heavy throttle it throws the check engine light. I checked the codes and it gives me p0729, p0716, and p0735. All transmission...
Oh yeah same here. I actually think it has something to do with the torque management but I could be wrong. I know on GM vehicles it will kill some take off power to help save the transmission.
Yep. The hemifever tune is basically a more advanced tune than the normal canned tune. Sean, aka hemifever, took the 4.7L Diablo sport tune and tailored it more to what mods I had, after viewing a engine log I sent him. He also deleted the rear sensor codes so the PCM still thinks the cats are...
Thanks for the compliments guys. I've definitely spent some hours on her. It's one reason Ive decided to keep it. The other is its paid for!

I need to update this.
It's been a year and I still have my Ram. I took a job with a mobile wheel repair business (AWRS). I ended up selling the Kia and getting a 13 Durango. I've since drove the Ram maybe 2,000 miles since I'm provided a company truck. Buuuuttt I did drop the Ram a few more...
285/50s if you were referring to mine ha. I see you have a 06+ model? What did you need to do to get yours aligned back to specs?

Thanks. No notch yet. I have it but it's at my dads shop, also along with the plasma cutter and welder. Still trying to decide if I want to do the super c instead.
I agree with Ram_fish. Ive done it if they are sealed like the upper ball joints are. Ive taken a drill bit the size of or smaller than a wd40 straw and made a hole in the boot. The smaller the better because you dont need a gaping hole that collects water and dirt. I usually spray white...
Awesome trucks guys. Thanks for the help. I started on the front this morning and have the drop springs in. Just need to finish up this evening when I get in from work. It wont be going anywhere until I get those tires and c notch in. My 06 has the lower control arm camber adjustment but im sure...
I have been throwing around the idea of dropping the Ram another 2". Right now for the front I have Mcgaughys drop spindles installed but I also have the drop springs in my shop. I had them installed at one time but the alignment shop I took it to could not align the front end up 100% (uh...
Is it a 4wd or 2wd? If you have the shock extenders installed then stock shocks will work but a drop shock will work better. Post some pictures of the axle/leaf spring area and maybe one of the shackle to see what you have going on.

2006 Ram 1500 2wd/ no abs on front hubs
I made a 75 mile trip the other day to pick up some r/t wheels for my durango. As soon as I headed back home I heard the dreaded ding in the dash. I looked down and the abs and brake light were on and I had no speedometer. Also lost cruise control. As...
Well guys the time has come. I've decided I'm going to be getting rid of the ram. We had a little one in January and the wife has no room in her vehicle (Kia soul). You have to pull the seats all the way up to make the car seat fit right. Then your in the dash hoping the air bag doesn't deploy...
Here's an update. I finally found time to get these babies back together and installed. I think they turned out great and thanks to TRS, the demon eye kit looks pretty sick too.
Just a few of the colors.
Thanks usaf2006 for suggesting to skip on the red paint.
