    I want to change the color on these chrome inserts. They are plastic. There are no screws holding them on and i'm guessing they used adhesive. Has anyone removed them before?? thanks..

    This is simple...get what you want. Don't be naïve and think the Ford wont have issues. Knowing both trucks will have issues, I would look at the duration of each trucks warranties, value, then factor that against what I really want. Simple. The raptor with no warranty would be a deal breaker...

    Look at this. I use a good synthetic. 40 MPH head wind. Spent 2 hours at those readings. While most peeps think they are crazy readings, all numbers are within the operating limits of the vehicle. I have a zero issue truck....

    Didn't like the chrome sport grill so I changed it. This is how this truck should have come....Oh, and by its design, it has to flow more air than the sport grill....thanks whalleyb0y .....

    On the sports, you have this plastic insert in the lower part of the front bumper. Pop that out and you have a perfect place for an engine oil cooler. There is an adapter that sandwiches between your oil filter and engine block. Run a few lines and you are in business.......I might work on this...

    I thought the oil temp was high as well. But on another screen in the EVIC, it was 1 bar less than the red line. I burned 25 gallons in right around 90 miles give or take.     Everyone can find the lines for the tranny oil cooler, no one that I know of has seen lines for an engine oil cooler. I have the heavy duty cooling package and don't have an engine oil cooler that I can find. Dunno....

    Take a look at the pic in this thread and then talk to me about oil temps....500 miles of this and it ran like a top. Diesel oil will go into the 300 plus range. Not towing and mine will be plus or minus 20 degrees from the water temp.....The tranny coolers on the 6 speeds are amazing...

    it was kinda funny, I almost couldn't go slower. If I did, the lower RPMs wouldn't sustain a steady MPH. I played with all kinds of speeds and gears and this was the best. I think maybe the hemi has max torque in this RPM range is why it was working. Any slower and I would have been in second...

Notice the MPG...the tank was topped off just 30-40 miles earlier.....OUCH!!! The 6 speed trans was amazing. notice its temp. Then look at the engine oil...

    I would not do a 12 Cummins truck. 13s now have better emissions. Also, I don't think a manual will be an option for you. I think they quit making those....could be wrong though...

    Towing and Torqueflite 8?

    I have the 6 speed 3.92 combo and it tows well. I never get out of 4th @ 70 MPH with 6500#. My issue is the truck is very squirrely. I cant imagine a 3.21 towing anything. Seems like you would be stuck in 2nd or 3rd all the time with 3.21s....just don't make sense...

    I need help with this...

    I went to trade my 1500 back in for a 2500 and it was another 10K plus 75 more a month. Wife flipped out. So Ill keep this and stay out of the dog house.....I tow about 6K and this truck is scary on the freeway. Its rated for 10k towing. What they don't tell you is towing an enclosed car hauler...
