    When you remove the screws, I found it easy to use a small screwdriver and a rag or paper towel to snap those clips out. The rag or towel behind the screwdriver will help lessen the damage to the surrounding dash. Once they are out, just pull and off it comes

    I have a '06 Ram 1500 Laramie and I'm trying to figure out which route to go for the chrome emblems, grille, and wheels. Which color would look better with my black truck? Kind of iffy about the gun metal gray because it kind of looks like primer to me.

    I just replaced all 16 this past Sunday. Didn't take me long, maybe 2 hrs at most. Many people have said the driver side is difficult, but it's not really. Again just make sure you drop each thing one at a time into it. I used a very short wobble and a 3" extension all 3/8 drive

    I've come to like GMC. I like the new style grille and hood, makes the truck look bigger compared to Ram 1500. I'm sure I can find one of those that are fully loaded. Seen a '12 Laramie Big Horn, that one was fully loaded

    Well decided that I won't go for a 2500, just don't need it right now. I've been thinking about a 2010 and up, Ram 1500 or a Sierra 1500. I think I could find a nice truck with some options on it.

    Yeah. My plan is just to repair everything, buy the parts and hopefully use my gf's parents barn. Use a grinder wheel or torch and just cut the bolts. Since I'm down there I'm just going to replace everything that I haven't already. Should be a fun project. Usaf2006-what did you end up doing?

    Well got some bad news today. Mechanic can't align the front because everything is seized. Lower control bushings, tie rods. It's a northern truck so it's seen a lot of salt.

    Everything came in today. . The control arms are pretty heavy duty, can't wait to put them on. Got off early today so decided to tackle the rear shocks. Top bolts were a little difficult to get off but I got them. I'm pretty sure the originals were still on. I plan on doing the control arms...

    Shocks are going to be in tomorrow, and UCA was shipped out today. I don't trust myself yet to install struts. So they are installing the fronts and doing an alignment. It's an expensive trip to the store lol.

    I pulled the trigger last night. Bought the Zone UCA's, should be here by this weekend. Then bought 4 Rancho 9000's. 4 Wheel Parts had a deal for 4 shocks, 10% discount on installation, and free shipping if I pick up in store. Just waiting for shipping confirmations.

    I'm looking at the zone upper control arm bc it comes with ball joints and aligns them. So I don't have to keep replacing them bc of the leveling kit
