I’m looking to add a powered cooler in the bed for camping and wondering how others have added an outlet in the bed. Looking for a clean install that has continuous power. Please provide pics if you can. Thanks in advance.

I’ve had 3 sets of Nitto’s and 2 sets of ProComp All Terrains. My vote would be ProComp then Nitto. Better than the BFGs I’ve run and super quiet and smooth.

I just bought a classic this week. The price I paid was 6k less than I could deal on the 5th gen. Both had about the same MSRP ($50k). They are definitely giving more incentives on the 4th gens here.

To me, that sounds like an issue with the hub itself. If the hub is working properly, there would be very little play when rocking the truck or pushing the front end.

The first thing I would do is jack up the front end and spin the wheels, grab the top and bottom of the tire and rock it to look for play as well as checking for any play in the ujoints. Thats where it sounds like this would come from, somewhere in the hub/joint area.
I just bought one (get it this week) and was confused. Looks like a 4th gen but wasn’t sure. It’s been confirmed, def a 4th gen.

I had a similar issue with mine last winter. Ended up being the controller. It was either an issue in the harness or the controller itself. If you swapped everything and it works on the other side, that’s probably the problem. Could be a ground. Check that first before replacing the controller...
Without Uconnect, you can hit the VR button (at least in an iPhone) and activate Siri for voice texting. You don’t need Uconnect for that. Just press and hold for a couple seconds.

I have a 2012 and live in the snow belt of Ohio. There is very little surface rust on my frame, definitely no rot or corrosion. This is more like what I would expect to see on a vehicle from the late 70's-early 90's.

I didn't read your whole attached thread, but when I got my truck I had one key inside the fob, that was it. I took my truck to a locksmith locally and they programmed a key that starts the truck and opens the doors, no fob, for $45. Works great as a backup and no batteries to worry about...
I assume a hot restrike is when it rapid on/off/on cycle. I run the Morimoto system that Jeremy sells. How do I know of this is an issue? I think my Ram's auto lights are sensitive to begin with. Is there a way to turn the sensitivity down?

Good to know. Do you leave the approach lighting turned on and the delayed off lighting on as well? I've read on older posts that these setting and the quick on and off is bad for it but nothing current. Maybe it's no longer an issue due to new technology. Just curious. Thanks.

Looking for any feedback on whether or not using the auto headlights feature with aftermarket Morimoto HIDs is an issue? I've used it from time to time but will it cause failure if using it all the time? I'm concerned that it will either prematurely burn out the bulbs or cause ballast issues...
JJ at Retroshop.us, he deals with the Morimoto products that are great and so is JJ. He's always there to help when needed.

Glad to see everyone is walking away from these. I had one where a kid was texting or something. Didn't even hit the brakes and I was at a dead stop. Needless to say, I only had bumper and some fender damage and he was likely grounded for a while after totaling his mommy's car.

Happens on mine and I have to use metal cleaner to remove it. It's imperfections from the road salt, etc settling in the bumper and rusting. If left it will rust the bumper.

Maybe a bad hub. Check for play when the front wheels are jacked up and grab the top and bottom of the wheel. Is there any play?

Same issue that the Grand Cherokees are having. The people I know that have them fixed it by selling the vehicle. It's been a mystery on the GC side of things.

Just did my ball joints at 77k miles. The way I knew mine were going was low speed it felt like a droning or rhythmic vibration between 25-40mph. Since I'm under warranty the dealership did it but said the hubs were still good. Normally you will start to get that squeaking from the bearings when...
Second that. I have those on my truck and it rides nice, sits level and the truck is more stable than it was with the factory suspension.

I have a pioneer head unit that has car play and it is great. Works seem less and can add backup cameras, remote screens for DVD, etc. anything you want.

The customer support Jeremy will give you compared to the pennies you may save elsewhere is a no brainer. Trust me. He has helped me out lore times than I can count.
