I purchased a new top from lmctruck.com. Seems pretty good—they claim it is more durable than OEM, not saying too much there. You have to remove the dash to install it. My interior is tan/camel and the color and finish doesn’t match oem perfectly.
Doesn’t show how to squeeze climate controls vacuum line connector through the hole behind it :(.
Forcing it doesn’t feel right. Takes a bit of force. Might be what I have to do.
My truck is a 99 with only 112k on it and my seat is shot. I knew the original owner and he use to plow snow around apts because he was the maintenance man there. So the seat has more miles than the truck. That could be true for other trucks as well. But apparently not in this case...
In that video he doesn’t address the vacuum lines at all. He removes the heater core leaving the hvac assembly in the truck and just loosens it from the fire wall.
