Yes i levelled the pan. Not the truck.
I just don't want to change the fluid and filter for nothing if it has to come apart again to change valve body or something

Havent driven truck in a while. Today driving it stuck in 3rd gear. Wouldnt shift up or down. Check engine light came on too. First time for that.

Just checked the fluid level as per ZF procedure and it's fine. From couple drips that i let that come out. Fluid didn't look bad at all.

2014 5.7 4x4
Been happening for a few weeks. When taking off first thing, even in summer months. Trans shifts fine except when going from 3rd to 4th with light throttle. It will act like it missed a gear and then slam into 4th. Rest of the shifts are smooth as ever. Once trans reaches operation...
I have towed my boat over the Rockies from Alberta to BC coast. I didnt scale it until after i got home. 9200lbs. I was surprized it was that muxh because the truck handled it really well despite the stupid surge brakes.
Averaged 20l/100km and I wasnt doddling.
I have '14 CC 4x4 with 6'4" box...
Well after owning my '14 1500 with hemi and 3.92's for a year and a half I hooked on to a 29' travel trailer and towed almost a 1000km from one end of Vancouver Island to the other and back.
Went across scales and can't remember exact axle weights but the total was just over 6000kg (Think it...
I just removed that black valance on my sport and installed the OEM tow hooks as normal.
Eventually I'll install my light bar but driving in northern Alberta all year, tow hooks are a very sound investment
I have the backflip hd.
No issues except blowing snow and dust around tailgate ( no seal kit)
I keep everything in totes as well just for order. But no issues
I run stock size toyo at2 in winter and 305/50-20's in summer.
I used to be a tireman and have had a ton of different tires. These toyos seem to work well all year, even in northern Alberta winters.
I have a CC with the 6-4 box. Didn't know it was an option until I saw it on the lot next to a short box.
The f150s at work have it too, but the ram look much more "natural" with it.
Had weather in the -30s and no issues. -37 over night and started without being plugged in.
Only issue I've had is the gauge lights stayed on once. Hours after shutting off.
Disconnected battery and hasn't done it again.
I've had mine for a month and 3000km.
Happy so far. CC with the 6.4' box. Still looks proportioned with the longer box.
Air suspension is nice but not a deal breaker IMHO.
Quiet ride. 3.92 gears. Seemed deep at first but still cruises nice at 120km. Lots of passing power. Lots.
Haven't...
I bought a '14 cc a couple weeks ago.
Found another use for the entry/exit mode.
Allowed me to enter an above ground parkade that has those stupid over height bars. Problem is with the snow/ice buildup on the deck the 6'6" max height becomes 6'2" real quick.
I would have been popular...
