Is that really that much weight? Seems inflated although heavy still.

I done something like this at work one time in my 06 Silverado 1500 crew cab. Like I said. 1 time. I carried a 36' HazMat trailer and it weighs 24,000lbs. It trashed the rear suspension and a bunch of other stuff. Not a very smart thing. Lol. I regretted it and so did my bank account. Like, $6,000 regret., lol.

The biggest thing I actually towed with my '99 QC 4x4 Sport 1500 was my buddy's '99 RCSB 4x2 Sport using a car dolly.

I once hooked it up to a loaded slant-load horse trailer weighted down with tools just to see if I could get it moving though...turned out I could. :p

Man, after seeing all those new rams squatted down I'm so happy I went with the Auto-leveling air suspension. I'll add some pictures here in a few weeks when I pick up a 14' Dump trailer and put some farming equipment in it.

I pull a 28' fifth wheel with my 2012 Ram Express regular cab. It weighs about 8,000 lbs. loaded. I have pulled it about 2,000 miles so far. Does fine!

I just moved from Vancouver Island to Stony Plain Alberta and rented a 26 foot cargo trailer for the move.

What the trailer weighed I'm not sure but combined weight when I rolled over the scale was just a little over 14,000 pounds.

I was impressed to say the least. Never once did I not feel safe and I never once had to drop bellow the speed limit climbing over the mountains. It was some powerful thirsty though lol I averaged 48.5 liters per 100 kms (about 5 mpg?)

Air bags would have been nice but it looks like the rear end is sagging more than it really is because I have 305/55r20's with no level kit. So the wheel wells are full even empty. My truck is 100% stock except for the tires.

Sounds like the weight of the trailer helped keep a nice steady load back there; impressive, except for that mileage, but what can ya do? Cheaper than mover fo sho.

At those elevations you may as well have had a hole in your tank ;)

Glad it pulled well.

I pulled an 18 ft Enclosed weighing in at 7500 lbs GTW pulled like a dream and got 12.4 mpg at 65. I also pull my Grand Cherokee on a flat bed and average about 13

Cheaper than a mover and more fun lol

A hole in the take for sure, could watch the gas gage go down. I could pass most anyone on the road (even a cop but that's another story lol), but I couldn't pass a gas station.

Would hate to see the combined ferry and fuel cost for that trip!
