    Update from January. Drove 500 miles one way at 16.4 to 16.9 mpg. Then I picked up a 7100 lb travel trailer (see pic)and mileage dropped to 9-10 mpg.

    Looking to buy a truck cap for my 2014 8 foot 2500. Whn I compare prices at various sites I only see caps for years up to 2013. Are the bed dimensions the same as in previous year models? For example: Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500 2010-2013 Long 96.375 65.5 62.063 Thanks in advance!

    Having owned the truck now for several weeks and the weather is above zero, my mileage has increased from 11.2 to around 14 mpg (mostly highway). Hope to see further improvement.

    SO I have read most of the posts and am confused by the various issues presented. The bottom line question is: Will the LED bulb replacement as suggested by the OP for the dome light going to work on my 2014 2500? w/o a problem? I am replacing no other bulbs.

    I have 500 miles on my 2014 2500 4x4 6.4 long bed and so far so good. The negative: MPG is less than what I hoped for, but others state that after the break-in period, it should get better. In addition we have had zero (and below) temperatures since I bought it so that probably has an effect on...

    Do you -need- your heavy duty or did you just -want- it?

    Bought it because I wanted it. We will be buying another travel trailer soon and I wanted the right truck to tow it with. It is not a daily driver......would cost too much in gas for a 60 mile round trip five days a week.

    When I bought my 2014 2500 long bed, I was ready to sign the deal, but my wife stepped in and said if they throw in the wheel to wheel step bar, thay had a deal. They agreed. Love my wife.

    What did your Ram cost?

    Around 42000 msrp . Paid 25,500 out the door after 12000 trade including tax, title etc. 2014 Ram 2500 4x4 tradesman with 5th wheel prep, back up camera, heated towing mirrors.long bed.

    Hi, New member here. Bought a 2014 2500 Ram Crew Cab long bed. Have the opportunity to pick up a 2011-12 bedliner in new shape. WIll it fit or have there been any changes in the standard long bed? Thanks in advance.
