Nice man!! Sorry bout the cargo light. Hopefully you'll still have some pics up tonight because I'm loving how these LED setups look.

Only thing is, does everyone elses flicker when the key is out? As soon as I turn it to accessory they're steady, but if I remove the key with the interior lights on they flicker. That because they don't like dimming?

when the dimmer is in normal position I have no issues. No flicker or anything. I can get the visors to flash when i have the dimmer switch almost all the way to the left.

Nope, fine dont flicker.

LEDs should have no problem dimming. It's not as smooth as incandescent, but they still will dim quickly.

Nice...so what about the third tail light/ truck bed light? Any ideas on how to get that part of the truck some more light? Im not saying that I move **** invthe dark, but sometimes a little extra light would be helpfull.

SO I have read most of the posts and am confused by the various issues presented.
The bottom line question is:
Will the LED bulb replacement as suggested by the OP for the dome light going to work on my 2014 2500? w/o a problem? I am replacing no other bulbs.

I just did all my interior lights last week with china cheapy ones from eBay. They fit and look great. 194 style in the map and dome was the tube style. BOth pictured here:

There's newer brighter leds available such as 5630/5730

You can obtain them for 212-2, 194, 921, etc, much brighter.

They are brighter then "5050" type leds which contain 3-chips per led.

Basically,
5050's are rated about 0.24W per led
5730's are rated about 0.50W per led

I replaced my 212-2 dome light ( 9 x 5050 led, 2.16W ) with a ( 9 x 5730 led, 4.5W ) link below.

White 9 SMD 5730 LED Bulbs for Car Interior Dome Lights 1 72" Festoon 211 2 578 | eBay

It's twice as bright, and has a wider coverage area of light as well.

Hope this helps someone, LEDs are getting brighter as time goes on.

FYI, you'll find these newer leds a bit more expensive, I don't mind paying a premium for double output.

Just gently pry it open starting on any corner. It will come. Takes a funky kind of bulb. Super Bright LEDs has one #RL4410-NWHP9 rigid loop festoon

Sorry to interrupt all of you 4th gen guys, but has anyone done a full LED swap with a 3rd gen? I want to do my all interior, exterior cargo and reverse. One of my friends accidentally bought and extra LED dome light and I put it in my truck. It flashes when I unlock the truck and it turns on when I use the switch, but when you actually click the plastic cover to turn it on... nothing happens. Any suggestions? If someone could give me a full bulb list for 3rd gens it would be much appreciated (they don't need to be anything fancy, just want the crisp white look. Except for my reverse light, I would like some really bright ones. My visibility sucks now.
