    Need tire recommendation unfortunately

Duratrac is a very good tire, maybe not for everyone but it's solid. Bcbouy, if you disagree about something that's fine, but do it respectfully not immaturely. If you spend time reading through this forum you will understand why I have come to respect xrsman and blackbeautyhemi over the years...

Need some Help with lift and tires

I think with 35's, Bils @ 2.8 will look great. Because you want 35's I would do at least a 1" spacer in the rear. I did the research on here for years (literally) and went with steel rear spacers (.75") myself and love them. Very quiet and look/feel solid. Also inexpensive and easy install. You...

    Rear cool spacers

Ya, you want airbags then. You can find info here on them too. I don't know much about them but if you don't want to lift and just keep the back from sagging under weight then that's what they are for. As for spacer brand I have Top Gun Customz and they are very good quality and affordable.

    Bilstein 5100 vs Rancho quicklift

You will be fine with 1.5" spacers. I had very close to the same factory rake as you and went with 2.1 and a .75" rear steel spacer. Mine didn't settle at all (at least not yet) and I still carry a little over an inch of rake. To me it sits perfectly now, but I like a little bit of rake. So it...

    Rear cool spacers

^^^ Ya, this exactly. A lot of guys have them here, including myself. Search this forum and you will find plenty of info. And from my findings both steel and poly are good. I went with steel for the added strength with longevity and like sausec17 said; any bigger than 1.5" and you should look...

    Bilstein 5100 vs Rancho quicklift

Tripower's unfortunate fiasco was what ultimately pushed me towards Bils. You will PROBABLY be happy with Rancho. You will DEFINITELY be happy with Bils. IMO.

Congrats and sharp truck! Always exciting getting a new toy and a lot of great info here. Best of luck with it and enjoy!

    Bilstein 5100 vs Rancho quicklift

I researched both for months (mostly on here). I recently went with the Bils mainly because several guys on here were not getting the advertised height of 2.25" with the Ranchos. In fact a couple guys got well under 2". I like Rancho but after reading about those it turned me away. There seemed...

    Steering wheel and alignment

Mine was slightly off when I bought it. Pulled a little to the left. It got a little worse over the 2+ years I've had it. Nothing crazy but still off, pulling a little to the left. I just leveled it with Bils and put on 34's and got it aligned at a reputable shop. Now it runs straight and...

Wheel Spacer Question (yes I'm sorry)

No spacer over 10mm. 10 and under is safe because these trucks have enough thread on the stock lugs. According to him adapters are fine. He said stock 20" wheels (with their indentations to accommodate the lugs) will fit 1" adapters and larger. So the way I see it, if you want to use a spacer...

Wheel Spacer Question (yes I'm sorry)

MotorsportsTech guys (Lenny) said 10mm is the widest you can safely go with these trucks (not adapter, spacer). That's with the stock rims, not sure about aftermarket. I will take his word on that, just passing that info along. Better to be safe than sorry.

Wheel Spacer Question (yes I'm sorry)

    10mm is .394". Not 1/4".

Wheel Spacer Question (yes I'm sorry)

Size-wise it sounds like a 1/4" spacer should do the trick. The pro's at Motorsports Tech say that you can safely run up to a 10mm spacer (approx .4"). If you want to go wider than that then you will have to run an adapter (it's own threads and lugs) and the minimum you can safely run with the...

questions about speedo calibration and 2015+ trucks...

I just put on a level and 275/65 20's and found that my speedo is about 1.5 MPH slow, which is slightly noticible but very minimal. Just FYI.

Trade my 15 Express for either 12 or 13 Longhorn??

Crosby Stills and Nash - "if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with." If you love you're truck then add some mods (at least a remote start $150) and stick with it. I have an express and love it. Do I appreciate the higher trims? Absolutely. But I got what I could afford and...

    Tires

^^^ You will find a lot on this forum about your question. A lot of good info here, search and use the advanced search to find keywords in titles. Anyway, 34's will definitely fit stock. In fact I would recommend it. However it would look the best with a level. Get Bilsteins and set them at 1.4...

    steel vs poly rear spacer

Thanks XRSMAN. I'm leaning toward steel for the durability. Comforting to hear they are quiet for you. I like your truck too bud, sharp. Been following your build thread for awhile.

    steel vs poly rear spacer

It's not the answer to my question actually. That thread is much more about installation, top/bottom. And I read some other theeads as well. I'm looking for some simple, current reviews of both poly and steel 3/4" or 1" rear coil spacers. Preferably from users who have had them on awhile.

    wheel spacer size

Both should fit with no spacers needed. The 285's are 34.57" tall, 11.5" wide so a level will probably be needed for these just for aesthetics alone. Both will LOOK the best with a level.

    steel vs poly rear spacer

Very interested to hear about this exact question myself. Bringing this back for discussion... 3/4" rear coil spacer from TGC... poly or steel? I'm concerned the steel will be noisy. Any good/bad from owners of both please.. Thanks in advance.

    Ram 1500 tires and wheels

You will be fine with that set up. That tire size is under 33" so height is no issue. And that offset will give you an inch or more width which should improve the look of your stance.

    wheel spacers and 35s

1/4" should be sufficient, can go a little either way tho. There are guys running 35/12.5's on here with no spacers. Or you might need a bit more than a 1/4" spacer, each truck/tire is a little different. I'm in this same boat and I called Motorsportstech and talked to them. Their answer is we...

what's the best vent visors for quad cab?

AVS in-channel. I'm very happy with mine. Also in the Philly area and they have done great in very cold and very hot, snow and rain; nothing is a problem. They work great, install was easy and efficient, and the low profile looks sharp. Nothing against WeatherTech but AVS are tried and true in...
