    Sounds like two things. (1) Check for a vacuum leak. (2) I don't know what to make of the bucking motor at 55, but I think my tranny is making a lot of noise at 50+... Still trying to figure that out.

    Must be in the drivetrain. I put the rear end up on jack stands and had my wife run it up to about 65mph while I walked around the vehicle (sides and back, never in front!) First, you can definitely hear the sound again, so I don't think it's in the suspension / U-joints / hubs / whatever...

    Well, this is not based on my knowledge of the truck, but rather AC in general... the high pressure side of the system should be the "hot" side and I wouldn't expect condensation. On the other hand, there shouldn't be water in the system, it's refrigerant. So... that's probably not helpful...
