The 6.4 HD Hemi Thread
Well it is fixed. Slow to report but 1500+miles now on new fan blades and new clutch. Some blades warped causing clutch to engauge. So if you have an overly loud fan, replace the whole assembly, not jus the clutch.- wyohunter

Been busy so just jow taking time to post results. Fan blades had to be replaced along with clutch. Some are apparently defective from factory. No issues after several thousand miles now- wyohunter

How to turn Seatbelt Chime off
A dealer I took mine to disabled it via the computer and controls. Still get warning flash on screen though.- wyohunter

2014 6.4 Mechanical Clutch Fan Noise
Fan Update Service has contacted Chrysler and they are checking for a short run of bad fan blades. New Clutch on order along with new fan blades not replaced last time. That could be it actually, causing enough strain on the clutch it wont disengage. Will update when new fix applied next week.- wyohunter

But since I continue to get "that is how it is supposed to sound" from service and from Chrysler Tech support, I thought I'd try here. Numerous people here say there's makes no fan noise. Well, Dealer called the Chrysler service tech for our region. His explanation was the clutch fan always stays engaged at some degree. All 6.4's on his lot sound the same. Quote: They have to do that to get enough air flow with the extra coolers on the HD. We'll last years 5.7 didn't do it...- wyohunter

clutch fan noise update Headed to dealer tomorrow. Will review Chrysler service bulletins again for electric fan issue. Why the heck would an egr valve make that noise? I bet we are talking about the same thing just describing different. I know its the clutch fan as it went away for...- wyohunter

answer to your earlier question: Wyoming. Did you go to the laramie adventure Chrysler? DA said the same thing to me. Anyway the Wheatland dealer I bought from has been great. We are thinking now that somehow the electric is impeeding air flow. Chrysler is on electric fan part ending in "AG"...- wyohunter

Just had my 6.4 clutch fan replaced. Never engaged so truck was quiet for about 100 miles. Hit a slow dirt road, it engaged and now the same problem again. Always on amd sounds like a jet engine. Dealer put a trouble ticket into crysler as they have had to replace new ones just arrived...- wyohunter

My fan worked perfect until about 1,500 miles, now on ALL the time. Not sure why yours would do the above. I've looked and dealer researched and the 6.4 fan is manual only-no hook up to computer. They started a Chrysler trouble ticket as they have had three 6.4 with clutch fan issues...- wyohunter

Power Wagons ... Post em up!
Had this about 2 1/2 weeks now. Without a doubt the best and nicest truck I have ever owned. I've been a true Chevy fan buying a new one every 2 years. Gave up due to front ends not holding together. This baby rides better in the rough than my 2011 1/2 ton Chevy. A bit harsh in the rough...- wyohunter

New Member. Ordered my 2014 Laramie PW today.
Had this about 2 1/2 weeks now. Without a doubt the best and nicest truck I have ever owned. I've been a true Chevy fan buying a new one every 2 years. Gave up due to front ends not holding together. Mine was in the cargo box under the back seat passenger side. The one with the snap to lift up the fold flat back seat area-not the recessed cooler one.- wyohunter

2014 Power Wagon Unveiled
Folks the Laramie PW I ordered will be out the door priced at $50,500. No sun roof and no ram box (need the standard bed for headache rack and inside mount items) not the 60 people are talking about. Well worth it when you look at Raptors or a off road enhanced F250.- wyohunter

2014 Power Wagon Unveiled
Got a build date and VIN on my April 21 2014 order. Will post pics when arrived and access added. Estimated ship date per Dodge of 5-21. As to above, time will tell but upfit should be strong. Coils handle the rough and wash boards much better than leaves on the 2500's I drove.- wyohunter
