Sometimes you can get away with doing a level kit on a lift kit but that starts to tax the joints and can cause premature wear. Like olyelr said, body lift or replace the entire kit. sometimes you can get lucky and someone will buy your used lift parts to offset the cost.
Suspension components such as ball joints, ujoints, bushings in the control arms and track bar and not to mention tie rods. These things will cost you a pretty penny to have replaced. Mine as well get the dealer to do it before you buy.

They will work just as long as they haven't been on the truck for a considerable time. New ones will definitely give you the lift. Also check top gun customz site for coils. Or spacers. They make quality products.

I've got a fluttering noise coming from the front ends when driving. Pretty sure it's the front drive shaft and it's caused by the 7" of lift. I got under there and played with the front shaft and it makes some noise in the middle area that has the rubber boot around it when I try and turn it...
I was under the truck the other day and noticed a large muffler and a small one that is right above the axle. What is the small muffler looking item?

This is true. I guess it's something I'll have to deal with or chase. Once I need new tires I'll be putting new wheels on also with -44mm offset so that I can take the spacers off and still have the same stick out for the wheels. Having them centric will help and hopefully eliminate.

Yea. I was also thinking driveshaft angles. I did install the transmission drop bracket and carrier bearing drop kit to help in the beginning before the leafs and shackles when I just had blocks.

There are bushing at either end on both of those components. Check to see if they are worn. You can either visually check or even try moving them with your hands to see if you get play in them.

When I'm accelerating after being completely stopped I get a vibration from the rear for a second or two and then it goes away. It also comes back around 50mph. It all started the day I had new 4" leafs and 1" shackles installed in the rear as well as new 14" travel bilsteins and 2" wheel...
Throw a 8" long arm kit on it then slap some 37x13.5 tires around the wheels then sit back and soak in all the eyes that will be molesting your truck

Thanks for the reply. Just the thing I needed. klm has exactly what I need, doesn't get any easier than having the option for the exact lift height!

I've got a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Megacab 4x4 with 7" lift up front and 5" in the rear. I'm about to push the front to 9" and the rear to 6" and am wondering if I need to extend the brakes lines at all. Let me know what your experiences are.
Thanks

I was also wondering if anyone has the air lift 5000 on their truck and if it gave them anylift when unloaded. I dont see...
I just bought a 2006 1500 Megacab 4x4 and noticed it has some spacers in the front. im trying to figure out what size they are. What is your stock ride height front and back on this truck for anyone out there with the same vehicle. Also Wondering if i can slap a 6" lift on it and keep the...
Im looking at lifting my 06 2500 megacab 4x4 using a 3inch coilspacer and 4" zone lift kit. But for the rear lift i want to use air bags to acheive 4" in the rear this way i can use the air to lift the rear up for everyday but if i need to lower the bed to put stuff in it or dump stuff out i...
