Multiple problems, 4x4, and stalling

Service 4wd light is on... 06 ram 1500
I have a 2006 ram 1500 4x4, 4.7L,. The service 4wd light is on and the 4wd won't engage. I was working on a faulty wire for the cam sensor and after that was fixed, I noticed the Serv 4wd Light was on... the transfer case won't engage...
