    Yes even under that strap at the front, the pannels are not lined up correctly and there is a gap. All the welds seem to be intact.     No real updates yet, I was asked by the dealer to take my truck to a (their,not one of my choice) local body shop for a repair estimate. They said they would remove the bed, cut all the welds in the bed seams, realign the pannels, seam seal the pannels, reweld and paint for 1200 dollars. Still...

    I won't rule anything out but I have a back flip g2 cover keeping most of the elements out. It does get a little rain in the bed around the tail gate but nothing much. There are drain tube coming off the bed cover rails to channel as much water as possible out.

    Jadocs, I got involved directly. I hadn't heard anything from the dealer after 3 days so I called the support 800 number. I figured if they were getting harassed from the dealer and the customer that something may get done faster. I'll start calling every day on Monday until I get some answers.

    I looked at the new trucks at my local dealer and even picked at the seams and they appeared to be metal. I don't know for sure how the bed is constructed but I would hope the metal is supposed to overlap or be a tongue and groove type setup then crimped and welded. I'm not exactly sure how mine...

    BigA, so this has been a random issue for a while I'm guessing? Most people seem to say that their bed floor has small gaps not including the 3 drainage spots. I wonder what is happening in the manufacturing of the beds to cause this? I can't help but wonder if the bed strength is still capeable...

    Thanks crazy_luck For the feedback. The dealer said he had never seen it before... there are gaps in the front corners and a gap dead center of the bed against the cab area. These look different and after I left the dealer I looked at the new trucks and they were not like this.
