    Also check the steering shaft for play. The U-joint wears and causes play in the wheel. Have someone turn the wheel back and forth, see if the whole shaft turns, or just the upper section.

    Yikes! I thought mine sounded bad before I rebuilt it. Definitely needs a rebuild, just a matter of what you'll find ground up in there when you take the cover off. I was lucky enough to get mine done for free under the pinion nut recall.

    Which Octane gas are you using?

    I ran a few tanks of regular when gas was still crazy high, mileage dropped quite a bit (3-4 MPG), went right back up with 89 octane. 89 only runs 10 cents more a gallon here, worth it in my opinion. Not paying for 93, couldn't afford it- I drive 500-600 miles a week now.

    CV joints usually click, not grind or growl, at least until the bitter end. Does it vary the sound on corners? In your case, it should be louder when going around a left turn/curve, as more weight will be on the outer side.

    Maybe a loose or dirty connection somewhere behind the radio? Could be a cold solder joint inside the head, or just the software got corrupted somehow.

    Dash Speakers

    I've had the one in my 05 out several times, no problems with the clips or the panel, goes right back in every time. I wanted to put a speaker for my 2-way radio in the dash, so the sound from that would be more directed towards my ears instead of into the carpet.

    Alignment frequency

    Just replaced a lot of front end parts this summer, they were running a special for the lifetime alignment- $99, as opposed to $79 for the one-time. No-brainer really. Only a couple thousand miles, so just one alignment on this vehicle so far.

    Unknown connectors?

    Smaller one is for the Martin-Baker ejection seat and I think the big one would go to the warp core. I could be mistaken. Don't have the wiring diagram handy to look.

    They're done on a perf film, go to any decent wrap/graphics shop, they can print them and install. Get almost anything you want printed. They should have plenty of example photos, if not, find another shop.

    Chrysler 9.25 Pinion Nut Fix

    They totally rebuilt my rear diff, the nut was already loose when I took it in. Have almost 1,000 mi. on it so far, no issues whatsoever. Guess it depends on the shop.
