the dollar per HP ratio on a 5.7 is freaking ridiculous. By pas this computer, by pass that computer, buy a cam tuner, buy a stand alone fuel system. It never ends and yet you won't get any serious power.
The truck is slammed. It is not very drivable. It's going back to stock suspension and door handles back on. In the cold Wisconsin winter the door solenoids are a continuous problem.
Daytona is a garage queen. LOL I drive truck for a living so I am not home much. My Old 2004 SLT and new 2015 Express along with my bikes get all the miles.
Local shop did mine for $125.00. Love the sound and with the resonators on the drone is not bad at all. Also I have not noticed any low end power loss.
I did a muffler delete on mine. I kept the resonators in place. The truck has a loud deep tone to it now. It can be very loud when getting on it but you can cruise through the neighbor hood and not be obnoxious.. Very little drone while cruising at highway speeds.
I have a 47RE from a SRT 10 that needs a rebuild. Hope I can get it all working together. Not sure on a rearend yet. I would like to use an older Dana 60 I have. Working with Street works out of Milwaukee.
Any one here running a Mopar crate 7.0 426 stroker. in a 3rd Gen truck? Looking at buying one for my 05 Daytona. Is there a better option for the money. Thank you for your input and opinions.
